What is YICW?
Young, In Christ and Wealthy (YICW) is a movement focused on equipping believers, especially young people, with the mindset, principles, and practical understanding needed to escape financial struggle and start building real wealth.
It exists at the intersection of faith, financial education, and value creation, teaching people not just how to earn money, but how to do it with purpose, integrity, and a mindset rooted in Christ.
Think about this...
Money is one of the most consistent needs… yet one of the least taught subjects.
We are taught many things: in school, in church, in life, but almost no one sits you down and teaches you:
how money works
how to create it
how to multiply it
how to build a life where you’re not constantly praying just to survive
And it’s not intentional neglect, but a cycle. Most people were never taught themselves.
So generation after generation works, struggles, and passes that same reality forward.
YICW exists to break that cycle.
Why it Matters Now...
Today, money is no longer optional, it is foundational.
You need money for food, shelter, water, education, everything has a cost attached to it.
At the same time, young people are entering a world where:
traditional paths are less reliable
opportunities are changing rapidly
financial pressure is increasing earlier in life
Yet they are still not being equipped with the knowledge to navigate it.
If nothing changes, we will continue producing generations that:
survive instead of build
depend instead of create
and pray for provision without understanding creation
This is not just a financial issue; it is a broader concern.
What We Are Working Towards...
We are raising a generation that is In Christ and has money.
Too many believers are living in lack and constant struggle, yet much of it could be solved if they simply knew how to make money.
Money is in almost everything we do and everything we need. It makes no sense to spend your life trying to get it, yet never being taught how to actually create it.
YICW exists to equip believers with the understanding of how to make money, and how to live in the abundance Jesus spoke about.
If money is something you will spend your life needing, then you should be taught how to make it.
